Workforce development at Pee Dee Healthy Start
Pee Dee Healthy Start, Inc. Workforce Development and Training
Program serves unemployed, underemployed, justice involved and those who seek
to improve their skills through occupational and life training opportunities.
The goal of our program is to help individuals obtain meaningful employment by
addressing barriers that impede sustainable employment. Also, we assist those
who have been involved in the judicial system develop a career path and work
with them to prevent future involvement with the justice system.
Through our network of partners, we offer education and
training that helps our clients learn new skills by earning industry-recognized
credentials and certifications. Our participants earn incentives while they
learn and gain valuable skills to obtain meaningful employment.

- Financial Literacy & Pathway Out of Poverty Planning
- Restorative Justice, Mentoring and Community Service
- Conflict Resolution
- Entrepreneurship
- Intensive Case Management with Wrap Around Services
- Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Prescription Assistance)
- College Preparation and Enrollment
- Job Preparation and Placement
