The Dannon Project at Pee Dee Healthy Start
The Dannon Project at
Pee Dee Healthy Start serves high-risk and at-risk youth ages 18 -24 who seek to improve their skills through occupational and life training opportunities. The goal of our “re-entry strategy” is to interrupt the cycle of recidivism by helping participants successfully remain in or return to the community. We begin working with non-violent offenders who are placed on a sustainable career path while working to prevent future involvement with the justice system.
Through our network of partners, we offer education and training that helps our clients learn new skills by earning industry-recognized credentials and certifications. Our participants earn $8.50 per hour while they learn and gain valuable skills to obtain meaningful employment.
