Pee Dee Healthy Start, Inc. is excited to announce the opening of our new office in Sumter, South Carolina! This expansion represents a significant step forward in our mission to strengthen families and communities through workforce development and support.
To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting a special drop-in event on October 7, 2024, at the historic Sumter County Old Courthouse. The event will take place in The O.V. Player, Jr. Courtroom on the 3rd floor, located at 141 N. Main Street, Sumter, SC 29150, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet the Pee Dee Healthy Start team and learn about our Workforce Development and Training Program.
- Discuss opportunities for community collaboration to help build a brighter future for Sumter County.
- Explore how our services can help local residents overcome barriers to employment and secure meaningful jobs with livable wages.

Who Should Attend?
We encourage elected officials, employers, educational providers, social services agencies, mental health organizations, clergy, law enforcement agencies, concerned citizens, and community partners to join us for this event. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of workforce development in Sumter County.
